This vault door has an in swing design, which prevents blocking from the outside should you be inside. The Browning 1878 door set includes your choice of lock, a cast iron wheel handle, and a metal glaze finish. Standard features include the mechanical dial combination lock, though you can upgrade to a digital lock or a biometric lock.
The Browning 1878 Vault Door features the Uni-Force Lock Mechanism, which makes it extremely secure. In order to prevent the bolt or handle pressure from entering the lock, it makes use of strong cam locks and a massive, multiple diversion bar system. This provides an added level of security because a would-be burglar will be unable to enter the vault door unless they are aware of the correct combination.
