Great safe

SO far so good.. I bought he safe because it's waterproof and I have it in the basement.

This is a great safe with plenty of internal room for several modern rifles, ammo, several handguns, a large fire proof bag and more. Once I figured out that the directions explaining how to remove the key pad were incorrect, operating the safe and changing the combo were easy. The external paint is heavy duty and it does not chip off easy. The door bolt turns with ease and there is no play in the door when locked. The attached door organizer is also a great addition to this safe and it is one of the reason why I purchased this model. This safe is by no means flimsy in any way. The minor issue with this safe is that the interior was super dusty, you will need a shop vac with a hose to vacuum the carpeted walls, ceiling and shelves. Also, this safe was more expensive then the larger model, but I purchased this model because of its size fit where I wanted to place it. It is worth the money.

Helpful info:
I ordered this safe and it was delivered just a week later. Delivery in the Chicago area was by way of semi-truck so keep that in mind if you live on a narrow street. Delivery was flawless and the driver was kind enough to load the safe in my garage (for which he received a modest tip). This safe weighs every bit of nearly 500 pounds so you will need a friend or two to help move this unit. After hiring two movers, buying a carpeted flat furniture dolly ($16.00) and a few runs of 24 inch by 3/4 inch schedule 40 PVC, this unit was moved down 13 stairs. The PVC was used to roll the unit out of the garage, it was lifted just enough to get the furniture dolly under it and it was pushed to the rear of the house where is was gently slid down concrete stairs (use heavy duty plywood to act as a slide). After around 15 minutes of manual labor and maneuvering, the safe was in the house. The safe was unboxed and was unharmed during shipping and moving. DO NOT UNBOX THE SAFE THEN SLIDE IT DOWN THE STAIRS.
