Well built

I wanted a smaller safe that was in by bedroom to keep my shotgun in. This is well made, silent, and easy to get into with your fingerprint. Well worth the $250 investment.

Good safe!

Great safe. The fingerprint scanner is very reliable. Safe does need to be mounted to wall or floor as it will wobble and fall if not secured. Great for shotguns and long rifles with a compartment in the top for pistol or ammo storage. The only bad thing I have to say is I had to turn my AR-15 sideways to fit or else the door would not close. Otherwise good buy for the price. Will look into the larger Barska safes when my collection grows.

Awesome!

This is an awesome gun safe. Finger printer works great, buttons are on top and is just as quick. The tray pops open smoothly. I mounted next to my desk at the office. It was really easy to do. I am going to buy another one for home.

Slickest Gun Safe

I don’t regret shelling out money for this fancy metal box. It blends in with what’s in my room and I have it screwed in tight. That’s piece of mind that I don’t loose my pistol. The biometrics can be a little picky. If you don’t have your finger straight on the scanner, it won’t read correctly. I’ve had to rescan my prints a couple times too to get it working decently. I thought it would be like the biometrics on the iPhone. It’s cut for a pistol without any attachments, but I keep a subcompact pistol with a mini Valkyrie 2 flashlight on it, and it fits fine. The foam is forgiving and looks like it hasn’t lost its shape since I’ve used it. I’m fairly active at a local gun range so I’m constantly putting in and taking out my pistol every so often and still no sign of foam deformation. If I could, I’d beat the crap out of this thing just to see how much punishment it can take before it opens up, but I’m not made of cash. Anyway, if I ever get another Handgun,I’d consider buying another slider for sure.
